Counting down to the day I turn one year older

Birthdays are suppose to be a very special day.
But really, its no fun turning older sometimes.
My metabolism rate is slowing down as the day passes.
As my birthday looms near, all the excitement is dying down.
Secretly, I have no wish to celebrate it anymore.
9 Nov will just be like any other day really.

I suppose birthday wishes from friends and family will suffice.
Can I back out from the party now?

Surprise party.. TICKED!

It was a party planned a mth in advance.
I made sure that there will be enuff party goers
Made sure that we have the perfect spot with the perfect view
Made sure that everyone will not have to pay too much but still had plenty of booze
Made sure the cake not only looks good but also delicious
Made sure that the timing was just abt right
Made sure that everyone will have fun n be entertained
Lastly, made sure that he was happy.


Results? Huge success!
Everyone had a great time.. laughing and dancing away!
(unfortunately, some lost their voice)
most of the guys were puking at the end of the day (none of the girls did)
Everyone made more friends!
When everyone is happy and my dearest bday boy is happy.
I am definitely happy.
All the worries that it might be a flop were gone.
All the effort and money spent was definitely worth it.

i got a few of my favourite things...

I celebrated my bday early and I got myself things...

I got this in Blue.
It was the only colour left with my size, so without thinking twice i got it.

Karen Millen Zip Detail Dress.
This dress is just lovely and really make me look slim!
I also got a BCBG mini cocktail dress to wear for my bday too
unfortunately, i dnt have a picture of that.

Lastly, my favourite out of all!!
Chanel Stud Earrings.
Kudos to Penny who carefully brought this back from France for me.

Now i am thinking.....



For Xmas present to myself maybe?

its a saturday night
and i am bored stiff at home
suffering from a bad flu...
I wished this night would have been more fun.

Spending an early halloween with the animals..

Mel decided to ask me along on a very scary trip to Night Safari.
I suppose most of you will know that Night Safari is having their Halloween Special.
To Mel's surprise, i agreed.

Mid Atumn Festival with the kiddies

Reliving my childhood memories with my favourite kiddos.
When I was young and the only kid of the house,
Mid Autumn Festival was always spent at my Godma's.

We would sit at her HUGE balcony and light up lanterns everywhere.
so this year, we did that too.
Only cos the new place has no balcony and
it was raining so we had to do it in the living room.

The clothes rack came in handy...
